Claire Lyons

Hey Everyone! As the “new girl” in town, I’m sure you’re all dying of curiosity to know about me, Claire Stacy Lyons. Not that I’m an important figure or anything, but if you know about the infamous Pretty Committee, I’m sure you’ve heard of me. After all, I am the newcomer that some how climbed my way from the bottom of the foodchain, to at the side of the PC’s ruler, Massie Block. Again, I’m no legend, but I’m not invisible either. So for those of you who have yet to meet me in person. Read on!

All my life, I’ve lived and grown up in none other than Kissimmee, Florida. Home of Miss Kiss and plenty of sunshine! But ahv-course that was too good to be true. The Summer I was heading to 7th grade, my parents tacked on the for sale sign on my front yard and moved the whole family to Westchester, NY. My dad needed a job, and a close friend of his had an opening position. So with my new white Keds on my feet and my Hello Kitty suitcases stuffed with all my belongings, I said goodbye to my Florida friends: Sarah, Sari,and Amandy.

So I assumed Westchester would be just like Kissimmee. Friendly people, middle-class houses, and girls that appreciated gummies. Yet my intel was SO far off. Westchester was filled with super rich snobby people. Where girls obsessed over the “latest” handbags and designer shoes, rather than Gummyfeet and sours. It was the opposite of my typical atmosphere. To make matters worse, my dad’s “friend” turned out to be the father of the Queen Bee, Massie Block.The pretty, rich, mean, and smart girl that made Westchester NY a living hell since day one. To make matter’s worse, I was to be living in this girl’s guesthouse. This was the most popular girl in school and do you know that effect “popular girls” have on people. The effect that makes you want to be them? Well though I’m not proud to say it, I fell under this deadly trance. Desperate to be included in Massie Block’s group, The Pretty Committee.

But instead, I was rejected multiple times, but I did find one true friend, Layne Abeley. The girl that wasn’t afraid to be herself despite the fact that everyone openly hated her for being independant.

So long story short, I wasn’t accepted into the PC for awhile. But as I finally began settling down in Westchester, I grew to warm-up to Massie. She wasn’t a bad person, albeit a very normal though very self-centered girl. A girl that made Westchester the ultimate home, gave me friends to have, and memories to last a lifetime. She even introduced me to my longtime crush Cam Fisher. 

So now, I have everything. After moving out of Massie’s guesthouse. I now live a street down from Layne. I am part of the Pretty Committee and I’m BFF’s with Layne. I eat gummies with my crush, and fight with my little brother Todd. I’m just your typical blond hair, cornflower blue-eyed girl. The girl that believes everyone is special and equal. The girl that believes that friends + sugary sweets = Happiness!
